Our residents redefined Active with the 3rd annual HumanGood Games! Our 2 sister HumanGood communities (The Mansion at Rosemont and Spring Mill Pointe) joined in, wearing team colors and cheering each other in to the Games, gridiron-style. Participants competed in games for the Body, Mind and Soul, including Walking Relays, Cornhole, Bocce, Scrabble, Soul Painting, and a Chopped-style Cooking Competition! We closed with a Groove-A-Thon, combining Body, Mind and Soul, where each resident moved, grooved, and proved themselves in their own way! The most surprising thing about the day? The fierce competitiveness between the teams! But at the end of the day, camaraderie and connection won. One resident summed it up this way: “What an exciting time! This was a fun, creative team builder that tempted your palate – and created personal bonds that will last! It was Food Network TV and the Olympics all rolled into one! It was really fun (even if we came in 2nd this year)!” Another resident remarked “I love the feeling of being part of a team competition. There is great camaraderie and support for each other's efforts.”
