Tell us what you did during Active Aging Week to redefine the term "Active."
In addition to our regular programming, which includes Yoga, Zumba, Tai Chi, Aqua Aerobics and more, we added some extra special offerings to our schedule for Active Aging Week. We started with a Kickoff Walk for Active Aging Week that including several of our furry residents! Throughout the week residents were given the opportunity to participate in Meditation classes, health talks, lawn games like Bocce and Ladderball, Aqua Dance classes, and a resident favorite, Chair Massages : ) Residents were also given BINGO cards to fill out throughout the week while trying out new activities and practicing healthy habits at home. We had an awesome week and are already looking forward to next year!
