Tapestry Arbutus Walk: This year we celebrate with the theme "Everything is Possible". Our Impossible Relay Race had 5 teams of staff and residents dressed in costume completing for the fastest combined time on all four events; the Nordic Expedition, the Noodle Crawl, the Grind, and Calm, Cool and Coordinated. The Impossible Fast Furious Fairies came out on top. We danced every morning for 10 mins to a better body, to different music every day from Elvis to ABBA. We celebrated Oktoberfest with a live band. We visited our sister community for a Volleyball Tournament! The tension in the room was real but everyone had a good time, with matching outfits and team badges. For Thanksgiving, we asked the resident to write down what they are grateful for, and we added to the wall for everyone to see. Our Everything is Possible Talent Show with residents and staff was a huge hit. We had Brian lead a line dance with 10 residents, Vanessa performed an I love Lucy Skit, some traditional dance performances from our housekeeping team and the cherry on top was Paul for the restaurant singing "Can't Help Falling in Love" by Elvis when the whole crowd joined in with him.
