La Loma Village was active and safe with a diverse selection of courses, by re-imagining classic game show via Zoom games, and good old-fashioned brain work! Our Lifestyle and Fitness Coordinator took advantage of the cooler mornings with a par course -- 8 stations set up around campus, each focusing on a different physical challenge. Our assisted living residents enjoyed their own version of the course! The pool ladies kept mobile and agile during Aqua Fit classes. Residents stretched bands and bodies with yoga and physiobands. The Wii bowlers stayed competitive. And we even brought back Tai Chi, led by a resident who successfully passed Open the Door to Tai Chi Instructor Certification a year ago. Brains stayed healthy when Sun Health President and CEO called Bingo via Zoom. And our fabulous leadership team took a well-deserved mental break when they played La Loma's version of The Newlywed Game, "The Odd Couple Game" via Zoom.
